Although the Polish police seldom uses fire arms, such cases do happen from time to time. The one below wasn`t too successful. Teenage bystander shot by Polish police 01.01.2016 16:45 A teenage girl was accidentally shot in the leg by a policeman in the early hours of Friday morning in Mysłowice, southern Poland, when the officer tried to arrest an axe-wielding man.
The 16-year-old victim was rushed to hospital and she is in a stable condition.
Police were called to a street in the Silesian city after a man wandering about with axe was spotted by members of the public.
The man apparently lashed out at a policeman after officers asked him to lay down the axe, shortly after midnight.
The officer in question then opened fire, accdidentally injuring the teenager who was near the man.
She was hit in her left calf.
Police have not commented on whether the axe-wielding man was under the influence of alcohol or other substances, and no motive has been given for why the 19-year-old was carrying the weapon.- See more at: www.thenews.pl/1/9/Artykul/234978,Teenage-bystander-shot-by-Polish-police#sthash.iPNa1bO0.dpuf

Police too fast open fire some times. They must learn use gun nicely. But use must becase cryminals are brutal. That`s the problem with the police everywhere. Every few weeks a scandal breaks out in the USA when the police shoot a black American in the street. mappingpoliceviolence.org/unarmed/
