Have you ever had nightmares? I sometimes have but rarely remember them. The ones I do are - old nightmares connected with high school. The teachers of maths, physics and chemistry (I was in biology-chemistry class)which I took at advanced level haunt and chase me in long school corridors while I am trying to escape. -nightmares with the police chasing me on the road, fortunately without shooting. When I stop, it turns out I have invalid papers.  - about stealing my car - I come to the parking space but it`s empty. Nightmares are said to reflect the stresses one has during day time. I think it could be true in my case. |

I have not nightmars, only bad dreams about when I lose job or girl frend and I am very sad.

Have you ever had nightmares? The worst nightmare I ever had was when I was a young child...it was so horrifying to me that I still remember it clearly: In the dream, a headline in the news was that there was a murderer killing people in their beds at night. Each time he used the same method of operation. He would stand outside the bedroom window, whistle a high-pitched whistle that would shatter the glass of the window. Then, he would reach in the window, knock (with his knuckles) three times on the wooden nightstand, then strangle the person. Of course, then, in the dream, one night I was lying in bed and I heard the whistle, followed by the sound of the glass shattering in my room....then...I heard the knocking. I awoke in panic with my heart pounding! I have never forgotten the feeling of terror I had in that nightmare.  |

Funny, but a few nights before I had a nightmare in which this Polish forum was involved. More precisely, the context of taking photos for the forum`s sake appeared. I got into big trouble because of it. I woke at 5am.

For years I had the same nightmare. I was in a burning building and couldn't get out. I'm really frightened of fire, burning to death must be a terrible way to go. I wouldn't even go near the bunsen burners at school! Haven't had that nightmare for years though now. jeanne, your nightmare is terrifying! |

For years I had the same nightmare. I was in a burning building and couldn't get out. I'm really frightened of fire, burning to death must be a terrible way to go. I wouldn't even go near the bunsen burners at school! Haven't had that nightmare for years though now. so, you don`t want to be like Nero  I have had two nightmares about our farm house. One day I arrived and saw giant industrial installations and piles of waste behind the house. The sun was setting and it was getting dark, a ghastly atmosphere, really.   |

you don`t want to be like Nero Nooooooooooo!! But Nero diodn't play the fiddle while Rome burned anyway, It's a myth. The violin hadn't been invented then. That came 1500 years later. One day I arrived and saw giant industrial installations and piles of waste behind the house. The sun was setting and it was getting dark, a ghastly atmosphere, really. Maybe this pollution thing is getting to you.......hopefully not a sign of things to come! |

I got it a few years ago after prospectors came to the area to look for deposits of shale gas for fracking extraction. I was really worried for a few days. But it seems they found nothing. In result, I am able to enjoy my garden of bliss without any intrusion from the external world.  |

I would have been worried too, Fracking is so destructive, I am completely against it. I am able to enjoy my garden of bliss Where is that? Reminds me a little of Monet's garden. |

Bo, I have quite nasty, brutal and scary nightmares sometimes. They can be quite graphic, hyper realistic and a mix of a horror movie and an exciting thriller. Oops, Peter, those are really scary dreams. Do you think they are connected with your work? I mean stresses from it. |
