I mean skybridges and houses which join/link opposite buildings over streets. Most of them are located in Old Towns in Polish cities and once functioned as main gates. Lublin

I mean that people live in? Everything is possible today. Old Towns are posh areas with huge costs of renting so even such tiny buildings can have tenants. As for the structure above, it used to be inhabited but now it is owned by a theatre company called Teatr NN and various events are held there on the first floor ( on the windows level).
