Does anyone know of a Michael Dabrowski, who was a Maltese Knight, and founded Dominicans in Nowogrodek, and the Museum of Dabrowski Coalfield, in Bedzin Castle?
Where is this? What is the museum to? What is Coalfield mean? What part of Poland is this in?
I was only able to find a small bit on this, and I know there must be more someplace, even photo's, can you help on this.

Does anyone know of a Michael Dabrowski, who was a Maltese Knight, and founded Dominicans in Nowogrodek, Yes, there was such a guy but he lived in 18 century, around 1750. Not much about him on the Net. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie comes from Dąbrowa, a town located near Silesia. Read about it here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zag%C5%82%C4%99bie_D%C4%85browskieBTW, dąbrowa means a place full of oaks. Dąb=oak

Does anyone know of a group, Polish Nobility Association Foundation, of Anneslie, MD? Can they help me with my search for information? Do they do any good for Poland and her people? If yes, how?
Here I go again with questions, but if I don't ask, I could never know.

Does anyone know of a group, Polish Nobility Association Foundation, of Anneslie, MD? Can they help me with my search for information? Do they do any good for Poland and her people? If yes, how? Polish Nobility Association Foundation Description: The Polish Nobility Association was born out of the ashes of the Polish uprisings of the 1830's, as a loosely associated group of noblemen and ex-officers. Their original goal was the establishment of the Polish monarchy, with a Pole as the elected King. Poland regained her independence, in 1918. From that time onward the Polish Nobility Associations activities became primarily devoted to genealogical and heraldic research. The preservation of Polish cultural heritage then began, under the leadership of HH Prince Zygmund Polubinski. Website: www.pnaf.us/Can't hurt to at least contact them and find out if they can help you with your research.

Is there a place in Poland that I can write to for more information? If you have a address, do you have a E-mail address?

Mike Mike, I think we could offer more help if we knew what questions you are hoping to have answered. Can you please tell us what you are specifically trying to find out? I did find a link through FEEFHS (Federation of East European Family History Societies) with both mailing and e-mail addresses, but I am not certain if they will be able to provide you with the information you seek (although they may be able to point you in the right direction if they are unable to help). feefhs.org/pol/frg-apn.html

What I am looking for is any and all information on my family, my grandparents, and what they did, where they lived, in Poland, and if there are still family living in Poland, and who they are, and how do I reach them, and do I have family other places, that I don't know of, and how do I reach them?
I will try, all sources, and have tried many, without any luck, so far, but will keep trying.
Thank you for you input.
Mike
