So the school kids have sleep-overs in the salt mines??? I checked this sleep over, and if you mean a pajama party, then no, there are no parties, kids just spend a night or two there, that`s all. Spending the night in the mines is a sleep-over. Sleep-overs are not necessarily parties, though they could be. I guess I'm just surprised that there are accommodations for the kids to sleep there! Here in the U.S. kids can have sleep-overs at museums, etc. In Boston they can spend the night sleeping on the historic ship, the U.S.S. Constitution ("Old Ironsides"), so I guess doing that is not that different from sleeping in the mines.

If I were a parent chaperoning a sleep-over in the mines, I might become claustrophobic and want to get out!

Exactly, no difference at all. If I were a parent chaperoning a sleep-over in the mines, I might become claustrophobic and want to get out! The same with a sleep over on the ship you mentioned- it is even more claustrophobic. What about sleep- overs in a submarine ....

What about sleep- overs in a submarine .... I wouldn't be claustrophobic on the ship because it has openings like port holes, etc., and hatches that open above you...but I might get seasick!! Submarine sleep-overs would definitely produce claustrophobia in me!

Remember those hatches sometimes refuse to open when needed.

I took a tour of it 2 years ago, and I believe I would feel confident I could "escape" if need be! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Constitution

Impressive. That`s how it looked like in 16 century www.zamkipolskie.com/ogro/ogro.htmlTiredness was mostly the result of intensive walking around the castle and the whole area.

Wow...makes me want to read a good novel about medieval castles and knights! Do you know that knights didn`t wash under their armour so they smelled like hell?

It was a "protective layer" of filth. Lol. Nevertheless, knights are considered very romantic today.
