Bear encounters in Poland

Tourists were able to take photo of two young bears on Kasprowy Wierch peak in the Tatra mountains. After a few days of roaming and befriending humans, one of the bears was put to sleep and transported to lower mountains where the snow cover is thinner and allows rummaging for food.
Another one is still being watched.

Poland used to be, I don`t know if it is still, called the country where bears walk in the streets.

An old stereotype proved true!!! (except that the proverbial bears are white)

Well, the bear was temporarily put to sleep, examined and transported to a more remote area. It was in a good condition although it had woken too early from its winter sleep, first after leaving its mother.

Only traces of bear were seen close to the death site of two bisons.
