I am often amazed by fans` devotion to their teams when I see those giant banners or live pictures. I cannot help admiring the artistic skills or long hours of preparation or patriotic connotations (although the message is sometimes not so attractive or even intolerable due to its aggressive spirit, distorted history, racial prejudice, extreme fanaticism etc). Good or bad, those graphic messages are interesting to watch as products of quite a peculiar culture. Legionist`s Honour Cursed soldiers, always ready to serve motherland Glory to Heroes of August 1982 (killed by communist police) National pride We don`t want violence, just a fight for a fair cause (Warsaw Rising graphic allusion).
