Polls regularly show that residents of Gdynia are the happiest in Poland.

- a lot of space, greenery and water.
- the highest number of sunny days in Poland
- psychologists suggest that a city should age with its residents, instead of having old things pulled down and replaced with modern ones. Gdynia is such a place. Built in 1920s, it still uses its original facilities. The traditions of a small village which survived in Gdynia till today still create unique bond bewteen residents.
