I reject almost everything connected with communism 
Exceptions are some TV series and cartoon which I watched as a child. The most important is 40 Year Old Man, released in 1975. Although it is so old, I have never ceased to like it because it is so eternally amusing. Since I turned 40, I have watched every episode a few dozen times, I know them by heart. Even now, when I am writing here and checking my students` work, an episode is going on in the background.
Pity they made only 21 episodes. Generally the director and producer managed to avoid cheap propaganda and made the series really entertaining. Grey communist reality and absurds of everyday life that people faced then are also present in the series and make it even more amusing. Besides, the people`s lifestyle in 1975 is so exotic compared to today.
Am I too nostalgic about communism now ?
The main character is engineer Karwowski, married with two kids. He is so good-natured that he runs into trouble in every episode. However, his kindness usually prevails. He sort of reminds me of myself, I am also kindhearted and often pay a price for that but later I am awarded double for what I lost
Somebody has put translated episodes on youtube, thanks, let`s watch them before they are deleted. The translation is proper, although I noticed grammar mistakes and ommissions of some idioms and colloqialisms.

Engineer Karwowski celebrates his 40th birthday with his family and best friend, Dr Stelmach. After a few drinks, engineer sees and talks to people whom he met in his childhood and youth.
