Apart from Bison vodka, other kinds also bear true allegiance to Polish culture. Clear vodka brands with human reference Chopin, famed composer Sobieski, victorious king Soplica - name of noble family in Mickiewicz`s epic poem Sir Tadeusz en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pan_TadeuszPan Tadeusz - Sir Tadeusz, main character in the poem Sarmata - Polish gentry liked to ascribe their origin to a tribal nation of brave Sarmatians whose legendary rule in 1st century Eastern Europe gave rise to Poland. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SarmatiansZawisza - Black Zawisza - the most famous Polish knight Absolwent - Graduate - somehow my favourite - probably because of a less burning taste due to 38% alc. content of its earlier version.

I have had a more detailed look and those names are really crazy: There is President vodka but don`t drink it , it has had bad reviews and is cheap. Motherland`s Cheap vodka Field vodka Highlander chief vodka Bridge vodka Krakowian vodka - it suggests fierceness - in Napoleon`s times Krakow horse riders were one of the most dangerous of the Polish cavalry. Wedding vodka. It is called Gorzko - the word which is shouted when wedding guests demand the newly weds to kiss. What is it in English? Red Label vodka: vodka bottles had red labels in communist times: Fire water, old Polish name for vodka Stomache vodka In Brazil, they sell Wałesa vodka. Funny. The funniest of all: Teetotaller

Yes, it also suits this thread: Some years back my wife and I made a yearly trip to Montreal. On this trip we had dinner at a Russian restaurant that served wild boar. (Presumably) Well, I asked if they had some Polish Bison Grass vodka and they did. Served ice cold and the bouquet was as if you were standing in a fresh cut field of hay. It brought back memories of when my folks brought some back from Poland. Trying to buy some in the states created a problem. 1st of all the original formula was banned in the USA due to its components emulating blood thinners. So they tried a different formula for export to the states and it is not the same. Was able to get some from Vermont but it was a big disappointment. Will always remember sipping ice cold bison grass vodka and smelling fresh cut hay.

I think I'll dig out my very old bottle of Zubrowka and sees what it smells like...probably not like fresh cut hay at this point in time...but you have piqued my curiosity! I'm pretty sure this bottle that lives in the cabinet at my house was brought by hand from Poland.

Baltic - the cheapest and worst vodka in communist times - it gave people a terrible hangover - after consuming too much of it, I was expelled from a youth camp in 1980s. Funny experience.
