The fireplace at my parents home in Vlissingen, Zeeland, yesterday. What a coincidence! That piece of wood reminds me of a dinosaur. We bought kids a few board games for Christmas, one of them about fighting dinos.  We played a few times and I won twice!!!

In wishing for a better world, perhaps we can keep in mind this Chinese proverb: "If there is right in the soul, there will be beauty in the person. If there is beauty in the person, there will be harmony in the home. If there is harmony in the home, there will be order in the nation. If there is order in the nation, there will be peace in the world."Perhaps we could all begin to work toward the goal of peace by trying to make things right in our own souls...it's really the only thing we have control over. |
