gigi, Thanks for the photos. Living in New England as I do, it's easy to become a "foliage snob", thinking we are the only ones with spectacular color in the fall. Thanks for the reminder that we're not!

yeah you New Englanders are too.. no one has the leaf peeping reports as part of the evening news like you guys do. moisture content of the leaves??? and VT is just freaking awesome in the fall. but you are right, fall is just gorgious in all of the northern USA.

One place with such vertical rocks that comes to my mind is Pieniny mountains - South-Eastern Poland, close to Slovakian border

One place with such vertical rocks that comes to my mind is Pieniny mountains - South-Eastern Poland, close to Slovakian border dzieki. i've never been in that corner. i like wild places and this is still the wildest part of poland.

Most of the world looks alike for Autumn, it looks very much the same here as in the photo's. I wish I could, and knew how to send some photo's to show you.
