Poles feel safe: survey 25.04.2017 12:28 Almost nine in ten Poles believe their country is a safe place to live, according to a new survey.
The study by pollster CBOS found that 95 percent of Poles consider the area in which they live as safe. Those are the highest figures since such studies were first carried out in 1987.
Nine percent of respondents said that Poland was not a safe country to live in, while just four percent said their neighborhood, estate or village was not safe.
Researchers pointed out that the number of people who feel safe in Poland has increased by 9 percentage points compared to the last such poll.
The number of people voicing the opposite opinion fell by 7 percentage points.
The latest study was conducted from 30 March to 6 April on a representative, random sample of 1,075 adults.
