Not as old and famous as Oktoberfest, but still... new traditions are welcome..... See you in 30 year`s time.
Besides, Poland is the fourth country in Europe to consume beer per capita.
Fans of the amber nectar can taste around 500 different brews at the international Good Beer Festival underway in the western Polish city of Wrocław.
The annual festival is one of the biggest events of its kind in Europe. It runs until Sunday.
Hanna Hylińska, from the festival’s press office, said as well as 55 beer stands there will also be food stands and even beer toiletries on offer.
"Beer toiletries are, for example, shampoos or shower gels produced from beer. But the focus will be on the beer stands, where 55 brewers - mainly craft brewers - will make 500 beer varieties available," added Hylińska.
The Wrocław Good Beer Festival has been held every year since 2010, with Polish and foreign breweries showing off their wares.
Last year the event drew more than 60,000 visitors.
