BANDERA SHALL NOT PASS!!!

The representatives of our organization called Młodzież Wszechpolska finally have forced the Polish government to oppose the admission of (the) Ukraine into Europe if it will keep praising the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists and the Ukrainian Insurgent Army including Stepan Bandera – one of their leaders.
We believe that a country whose authorities glorify the ones who killed 80 000 of Poles during Volhynia genocide in 1943, occupied primordially Polish territories and misappropriated Polish property have no right to be a part of European Union.
We're glad that the authorities of our country have heard us.
We are also outraged by non-visa regime for Ukraine. Along with labor migrants, the country was swept by the flow of Ukrainian refugees and outliers who constantly violate peaceful life of Polish cities.

In one post you mentioned a few very important issues.

1. Yes, Ukrainians cherish Bandera and other UPA/OUN members who planned and carried out the massacre of Poles in the Kresy region. Today, we are shocked to hear about monuments erected to those murderers.
The problem is that Ukraine, as a young state, desperately looks for historical heroes who once fought for Ukrainian independence anfd today could be glorified and set as an example for contemporary Ukrainian soldiers. And the only heroes they can find fought against Poland.
It is a cleft stick situation.

2 As for the occupation of primordial Polish lands, you`d better check the map showing the territory of original Poland ruled by Mieszko I.

3 Yes, Ukrainian immigrants work for low wages and Polish workers are indignant. On the other hand, Ukrainian immigration might help to stop the decrease of the population in our country.

Before you welcome and give employment to our Ukrainian neighbors, let me introduce to you some facts about this nation.
First of all we need to remember the Massacres of Poles in Volhynia and Eastern Galicia.

Causalities: The Institute of National Remembrance estimates that between 74,000 and 104,000 Poles were killed by

the Ukrainian nationalists (40,000–60,000 victims in Volhynia, 30,000-40,000 in Eastern Galicia, and at least 4,000 in Lesser Poland, including up to 2,000 in the Chelm region. Most of the victims were women and children.
This was about more than 70 years ago. You may think these people changed their views...but what do we have now?

Let us begin from Ukrainian authorities:

The Cabinet is not only integrated by the Svoboda and Right Sector (not to mention former members of defunct fascist UNA-UNSO), the two main Neo-Nazi entities have been entrusted with key positions which grant them de facto control over the Armed Forces, Police, Justice and National Security.

The municipality plans to hold “Shukhevychfest,” an event named after the nationalist collaborator Roman Shukhevych

featuring music and theater shows, on June 30th. Roman Dolinsky, the director of the Ukrainian Jewish Committee, in

Then goes sport: Roman Zozulya - a Ukrainian football striker whose tweets included photographs with the image of Stepan Bandera, leader of Ukrainian nationalist group that cooperated with Nazi Germany during World War II. And there's many many other examples of what is actually happening in that country. I don't want my kids being raped, hit or killed by these barbarians.

Well, yes, the problem is that modern Ukrainians don`t have other heroes to look up to today. The only heroes they have are this way or another controvercial to Poles.

It is pain to see how westenr Ukrainians glorify the men who started ethnic cleaning of Polish citizens in Kresy region during World War 2nd.
For instance Ukrainians in Tarnopol display banners of Bandera and other murderers or build monuments for them. Polish cities who cooperate with Tarnopol should quit this cooperation.
