The authorities of Łódź decided to dress local monuments in new clothes in order to provoke discussion over the city budget. In their opinion, the residents are too passive and need a little stimulus to take part in city planning.
Even Kosciuszko was dressed.
Of course, conservatists and patriots of all sorts are raising hell about the desecration of national values etc. The mayor answered: Just relax.
