For so many years nobody mentioned this holiday. Unbelievable. You are really stretching things to refer to Black Friday as a "holiday." No one mentioned it to you because it is embarrassing for some of us Americans to acknowledge that this craziness has become part of our culture.  Certain subjects are best not broached within an international community such as this forum. Some Americans, myself included, prefer to spend the day after Thanksgiving relaxing and keeping as far away from stores and malls as we possibly can... |

Every year I hope the economy tanks so hard that it kills this nonsense. I must confess that I do giggle at the videos of degenerates fighting over items, then I weep just a little.

I find it safer if I just cover my eyes when the news reports come on...I don't want to see it! I prefer my blood pressure to stay at its good level! |

Yes, I know that it is a tabooo topic for some people.  But we deal with all kinds of taboos here!!! That is why I started it. I also keep away from crazy mob. I buy gadgets only when I need them after an old one breaks down. However, I suppose this forum is also read by people who like going shopping on the day. We mustn`t ignore them because they are humans like us. |
