Anybody seen Gigi lately? Or did she get that new zoom and she's running in the bushes after the pheasants? Tufta, I think that in another thread she mentioned that it is now hockey season and she's very busy being a 'hockey mom'. Don't worry, I'm sure she'll return to us! |

Hi everyone, It has been a very, very busy week of school and hockey (compounded with three cases of the common cold and one case of pinkeye). So, no time for picture taking right now - but hopefully soon! I have a lot of forum reading to catch up on.... Hope you have all been well! |

Gigi doesn`t need to run after pheasants. Her dog does it for her. Aww, look at that face. Sadly, we don't have a dog anymore. It has been two years, but I just haven't been ready yet. |

I am fine, but very busy with guests, cooking, etc. I miss the forum, but expect to be back soon after all my guests head back home or back to school! This abolishes the myth of an American woman who doesn`t cook but prefers to serve ready-made dishes. Pre-packaged, processed food is my pet-peeve! I try whenever possible to serve real, wholesome, homemade food! Plus, I feel that by using ready-made dishes we are losing our food traditions, not to mention our necessary good nutrition! Sadly, though, there are many U.S. women who are so short of time due to their many duties and responsibilities that they feel they do not have the time to cook. My lifestyle requires a conscious effort on my part and is a trade-off from other things (like a higher-paying job!). |

Been very busy with an autism support forum I have and also with my dear grandson and MIL. I work all day and have her 3 evenings a week. Her Alzheimer's has gotten much worse. I will pop in to keep up even if I don't often post. Thanks for thinking of me... |

Sorry I haven't been on here much. Been very busy with an autism support forum I have and also with my dear grandson and MIL.I work all day and have her 3 evenings a week. Her Alzheimer's has gotten much worse. I will pop in to keep up even if I don't often post. Thanks for thinking of me... Glad to see that you are still here! It sounds as though life is very busy right now, and that you are spending a lot of time caring for others. Hopefully you are getting enough TLC too. |
