1500 Germans and their 500 Polish renegade police helpers surrounded the village of Radwanowice near Krakow and started their punitive action. Villagers suspected of contacts with the underground were tortured to make confessions. Finally, Germans shot 30 people, mostly young, threw the bodies into a ditch and forbade the burial for one month. Check the commemorative plaque to see their ages.
