As a boy, I read a novel by a Russian writer, it was set in Russian Odessa at the Black Sea long ago, one of the characters was a young fisherman who caught small fish called little bulls. I was fascinated with the name and always wondered how the fish looked like. As an adult, I saw tins with fish called that name but the main ingredient was fake, made from freshwater fish caught in Poland, not Russia. Fake bulls tin Finally, I am able to get the original bulls straight from Estonia which is close to Russia. Original babka bulls tin Impressions? Well, nothing special, just like typical tinned fish in tomato sauce. Also, I read that little babka bulls from the Black and Caspian Seas have become an invasive species in Polish lakes, dangerous to local species. www.polsatnews.pl/wiadomosc/2018-08-13/babka-bycza-zagraza-jeziorom-na-mazurach-ryba-z-morza-kaspijskiego-w-wypluwkach-kormoranow/?ref=kafle
