For decades I couldn`t decipher the name Szarlota Pawel. I thought it was a male name, because Paweł is Paul in Polish. But why was the first name second? That was a mystery to me. I didn`t understand that Szarlota was female, like Charlotte.
Now I know it was a woman.
I loved her comic books about Kleks, Ink Blot. First I read them in a magazine, then I bought comic books. Today I read them to my kids.
