From now on you can highlight the part of the post which you want to quote and click Quick Quote icon next to your cursor. Unfortunately, it only works in proper threads, not in Recent Posts view.

They all look blurred to me...... That`s the problem and I don`t know how to improve it yet. When Photobucket blocked the pics for the first time two years ago, there were many enraged users who pressed on programmers to invent the special coding for popular browsers. Now the users have gone and there is no more pressure. I am not going to pay for my several accounts there holding 25.000 pics. In result, we have to wait and depend on online photos only. That`s life. At least we had fun for 11 years with OUR OWN photos. 9 regular years and two extra life. I don't know anything about Photobucket I'm afraid. I presume it's a way of storing and uploading lots of personal photos at at time? Is it too difficult to upload personal photos directly to this forum? BTW, I cannot work out how to selectively quote a sentence within your post. When I highlight and select quote, your whole post is quoted instead of the sentence I want. I also cannot work out how to link to a newspaper article for example. Sorry to post this here, delete if inappropriate, but I cannot find guidelines anywhere!

Is it too difficult to upload personal photos directly to this forum? No, it isn`t but the forum`s storage space is limited so the size of your own photos must be as low as possible to show more of them. Otherwise, when the storage space is full, the old photos will have to be deleted to make room for new ones. To show your own photos, use Insert Embed button at the end of the menu. The best option is to show net photos with the Insert Image button by pasting the online picture`s address in it. When I highlight and select quote, your whole post is quoted instead of the sentence I want. Hmm, I wonder if you click the proper button. Do you click the one with QUOTE message among other buttons in the user`s menu? Then it is wrong coz you need to click the Quick Quote image which appears immediately next to the highlighted sentence. After a few seconds it vanishes if not used. After clicking it, you need to scroll down to the quote box at the bottom of the page. I also cannot work out how to link to a newspaper article for example. You can put the direct link, it is the easiest way. Just copy and paste the address and it automatically becomes a link, e.g.: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tamara_de_Lempicka Sorry to post this here, delete if inappropriate, but I cannot find guidelines anywhere! It is OK, I know this forum is different than other popular ones so one needs some explanation. PS. When you notice sth went wrong with your post, you can always go back through Edit button and correct what you want. The edit function doesn`t have time limits.

So how do I find the address of an individual picture? Or am I doing something wrong? Very easy. Just right click on the image you see in the google graphic section or wherever you see one, e..g, in an article. There, choose COPY IMAGE ADDRESS and then paste it here through INSERT IMAGE button. Try to avoid pasting small-size images like 100x100 or similar - they are too tiny. I try to post images not lower than 500, they can be better seen in the forum.

choose COPY IMAGE ADDRESS and then paste it here through INSERT IMAGE button. I knew there was a reason I loathe computers! If I right click on an image I get a whole host of options but none of them are copy image address. I clicked on copy image location but nothing changed, likewise for copy link location. Oh well.

Does the highlight quote feature still work on your devices? It doesn`t on my PC and I wonder whose fault it is.

Quick quote feature seems to be working again after I reinstalled it. Just highlight the text you want to quote and voila! Let me remind you that it doesn`t work it Recent Posts Mode - you need to enter the proper thread and quote there.
