The most known of contemporary Polish composers. He created complicated modern avantgarde classical music which for some time was unappreciated in Poland but became popular in other countries.
To be honest, I have never been a fan of this kind of music - hearing it, I always get associations with jazz which I dislike. I prefer old classic composers.
