Wow...pretty towns, both the gingerbread town and the actual town! A lot of painstaking work goes into making the gingerbread one...all those little icing windows and outlines of bricks, etc. I enjoy seeing the finished product!

Not bad, but this prettines solely depends on bright colours, not on elaborate sophisticated architecture. E..g, most of those tenement houses around the Market Square are deprived of fancy decoorations like the ones in Gdańsk or Wrocław.

I guess you are right about that...I wasn't thinking of the color, I was admiring the architecture! When I first started reading your post, I thought you were going to say the gingerbread houses were not bright enough!
