I wonder if you know what Plymouth Rock is or if you will have to google it... No, I googled it and immediately stored in my memory as useful info. Thanks.

I couldn't read the article in Polish, but I do wonder if this boulder is one of the many left behind by glaciers receding? My area of the U.S. is filled with such huge rocks, and many were just planted there when the glaciers melted.

Did he succeed in destroying it? Of course not. Satanic forces have always failed in Poland. The legend says the boulder was so heavy three devils had to carry it and it took them a long time. When the dawn broke, the sun blinded them and they dropped the boulder. Another legend says that the nuns prayed so earnestly that God sent female pidgeons to surround and attack the devil, so he was forced to let go of the boulder. In both cases it fell onto the meadow.

I like both versions. I always enjoy the triumph of good over evil!

It looks like a loess gorge. There's one well known im my region - Queen Jadwiga's Gorge in Sandomierz, but it doesn't look like that one, so I guess it must be somewhere else...

Judging by the colour of the water and those rocks... Is it the turquoise artificial lake in Zakrzówek (Kraków)?

turquoise artificial lake in Zakrzówek Yes. Used to go there in 1990s when its legal status was undecided. Swimming there was an incredible experience. And this?:
