Stop crying! We won`t let them have us so easily. Women make half the society. We shall fight!

We extinguish sexism for the sake of the nation. Welcome to Poland, the country where a woman is always to blame for everything. I`m Marta Frey. I like males. I have a good sex life. I am a feminist.

A funny video? Maybe it was because I didn't understand what was said in Polish, but watching it certainly wasn't a fun experience!

but watching it certainly wasn't a fun experience! It depends. It isn`t funny coz it propagates violence against women, and yes, it is if we remember it is a parody aimed at halfwit fake macho males. I am strong coz I left and put that son of the b.tch behind the bars before he killed me.

It wasn't a very funny video for me, due to the misogynistic context, but I understood that it was a parody like Bo states. It is ironical or cynical or sarcastic sense of humor against male chauvinist pigs who use their wives, girlfriends, daughters or female colleagues or friends like second hand citizens or like objects they can abuse like they will.
This of course is not only a Polish problem, but a European problem, South-American (Femicides) problem and a world problem.
Agression and violence against women at home, on the street and at their work places is a problem. Most often portrayed by men, but sometimes also instigated by self hating women who hit at other women or manipulate men to attack other women. You have a lot of deviant, perverted and pyschotic creeps in the world unfortunately.
I don't endorse this video as funny, but it shows the violence against women in a graphic nature.
Cheers, Pieter Unfortunately jealous men or boys also kill, abuse or harass women or girls in European countries, the USA, the Russian Federation, the Arab world, India and Southern-America. In the video you see Honduras and Colombia, but Femicide takes place in many more Latin American and South-American countries. Also in Mexico.

Pieter, I didn't for a minute think you were saying the video was funny...I knew you would not think that. I think this shows how careful we have to be on social media and digital communication to make ourselves clear. While people often use sarcasm when speaking with someone in person and that person is able to discern the ironic meaning of the person's speech, the same isn't true virtually. My lack of knowledge of the Polish language prevented me from having a solid understanding of the intent of the video, and that's just a dangerous thing to have happen given the nature of the subject of that particular video! Some memes by Marta Frey refer to women`s problems like self-acceptance, complexes, depression, emotional merry-go-round, low-esteem, immaturity, getting lost in life etc etc We don`t like people who are rude to us. That is why, be nice to yourself.

When I said I was in doubt it meant I don`t fully understand this choice. Awareness of what?

I'm not sure myself, to be honest... Maybe it's like with wisdom - it is said that wisdom brings sadness and stupid people are happy people lol Either way, it seems to be a philosophical question that doesn't pertain to women only. It's a bit too enigmatic for me though, so I'm afraid that nie wiem co autor miał na myśli...

I don't know... Perhaps awareness of the fact that bad things happen to people? Or to women, if it's supposed to be feminist or sth. Awareness of the situation of women? Or maybe it's meant to be vague, so we could interpret it the way we want. But those are just my guesses...

Maybe she is talking about being self-aware in order to be happy. Happiness comes from within and starts and ends with what we think personally. It is a bit vague though and open to interpretation.....

women`s problems like self-acceptance, complexes, depression, emotional merry-go-round, low-esteem, immaturity, getting lost in life etc etc Do not disturb. I am taking part in a hot internal debate. Granny, I fear the old age.
Funny, me too. I have heard horrible things about it. But still I try not to think about it.

what is this self-awareness about? Having knowledge and understanding of yourself, being aware of your own feelings and why you think, feel and behave the way you do. Being self-aware means that you have the capacity to change things about yourself if you want to.

Maybe she is talking about being self-aware in order to be happy. I don't think so, since she's saying one should make a choice between the two: happiness or awareness. what is this self-awareness about? Having knowledge and understanding of yourself, being aware of your own feelings and why you think, feel and behave the way you do. Being self-aware means that you have the capacity to change things about yourself if you want to. The thing is, in Polish "self-awareness" is "samoświadomość": pl.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samo%C5%9Bwiadomo%C5%9B%C4%87"Świadomość" is just "awareness". This is why this meme seems so vague to a Polish person, imho...

"Świadomość" is just "awareness". This is why this meme seems so vague to a Polish person, imho. The meme is vague. Not only to someone Polish! I was just trying to analyse it. Maybe the intention is just to make one think.....

This is why this meme seems so vague to a Polish person, imho... So, the only possible solution which seems rational relates to the story of Adam and Eve who happily lived in Eden but remained oblivious to certain vital facts about life, especially their running naked all over the place. One day they tried an apple, gained knowledge and awareness and realised their indecent nudity but that cost them their happinness. Isn`t it simple??
