Hi I am from Australia and Im trying to find out more information about my non Jewish grandparents who during the war were captured from Warsaw Poland which must have been in 1939 as I remember my grandmother saying she was 14 years old at the time of capture and my grandfather 29 years old to work in Labor camps. They survived the war and boarded a boat after the war to enter here in Australia where they raised their two children my mother and my uncle. I wish back when they were alive I had the computers/technology we have today to gather more information about there ancestry but we didn't and now they have been passed for a while I'm starting to want to know more about what they went through in the war. Is there a site online where I can find out about the Polish prisoners who were taken from Warsaw for slave labor is there a list of their names and duties.
Is there also a site where I can access a copy of my grandparents and great grandparents birth certificates/death certificates.
Anybody who can help please it would be very much appreciated.
Regards,
Lana.
