Political correctness in the US

US is an amusing country where both leftists and rightists try to impose their way of thinking, or ideology, however you call it - woke culture or conservative bigotry - on others. With unexpected results.

I just read that cons are planning to ban literature with indecent scenes.

In this way Quo Vadis will be banned coz it includes nudity! Especially when Ligia is carried by the bull onto the arena to be saved by Ursus.

Well, actually, the woke culture has pretty much determined that because books with religious themes are not politically correct

 (at least according to their view), they shouldn't be in public schools; so something like Quo Vadis would already be implicitly banned

before the "Cons", as you call them, can even get to them!
