Victoria,
I live in Toledo, Ohio. There is a large Polish community here, but most of them have been here for generations. However, I looked in the Toledo phone book for you. I found several Kroll's. I could give you some phone numbers for them, if you think that would be helpful. (Kroll is a lot more common name in America than the others. So you may not find that you are closely related to some of them.)
There are a few Adamcik's, Adamczak's, and Adamczyk's. But the other names were not in the phone book.
I at least wanted to be helpful.

I checked in Toledo's phone book for both Duziak and Dusiak--neither was found.
I am a bit of a newcomer with the computer, but I think if you search these names using "Google," you might have more luck. They might have a "Facebook" account, or something like that.

Keep working on it, it takes time. I have been working on my Dad's side for several years, and still nothing. On my Mom's side I have it going way back, many, many years, in Poland.

Mike I still have problems locating my Dad's side. But no luck. I did met his long lost cousins and we are still working on it but we gave up. They have been living in Chicago and we didn't know we are related. But how and who is who?

Hi Victoria, There are immigration records for both Dusiak and Duziak listed at ellisisland.org. It may be helpful to check them out. Good luck! Gigi P.S. Just a suggestion - you may want to change the title of this thread to something like "Researching family names Dusiak/Duziak, Kroll..." so that members and visitors can readily see the information you seek.

Victoria, I have a subscription to a world geneology site. If you give me some first and last names I can research them for you. That goes for all you regulars on the forum too. If you dont want to post full names you can IM or e-mail me.

Tim,
Can you check on Dabrowski or Dombrowski, Ferdynand born in 1875 in or near Broszkow, Poland, and his wife, my grandmother, Maryanna, born 1887 in or near Piotriwuce, Poland, both near Warsaw, Poland. I don't know, but I think the name was changed after they got here, to Dombrowski. Both passed away in 1954 living in Gary, Indiana. Grandfather worked for U.S. Steel in Gary. I have been searching for years, and can't find anything in Poland, on my visit to the area they came from, or by writing agency in Poland. I would be glad for any and all information you may find. Grandmother's m/n was Grabowski.
Mike
