I have questions for you.
I lives at 4 units condo, my problems are:
Unit 1, young lady (55 yrs. ) have cancer in her spine and is in wheeling chair. Her sisters & nieces are visiting her everyday bring foods, washing clothes and check on her. Which is nice of them?
Unit 2, this older lady who is 80 yrs. old, she is very grabby older lady. She live alone. She do not want to live at Retirement Home or children. She is mental disturb who refused to clean her condo, take garbage to her garage, she don't want to take garbage outside for garbage collection. Guess what she keep her garbage in her unit till Sunday night she put garbage on wagon (loading wagon like in warehouse) and put in hallway and leave. No one want to take garbage for her.
Unit 3, that is me living there. 2 years ago in Feb. I felled and broken my two ankles and do not want to take her garbage because it is hard to push wagon from front door. She should keep in her garage and it is easy to push. Not for me. My hands hurt and I can't even carry boxes. Now I have problem with my eye and doctor told me not to carry heavy boxes or push heavy loading wagon too. Do I have right to refuse?
Unit 4, young lady who is 29 years old. She is mess too and not very dependable person. She is sloppy too and keep her garbage in her unit till Sunday night. Bag is dripping and smell when she take it out from her unit. She had her right knee broken and had surgery twice.
What should I do? I did complained to Management and they haven't done anything? These three ladies bother me to take garbage for them. If I was healthy I would take care but I can't do it for them. They have visitors coming every Sunday, why don't they take their garbage.
I prefer to have hallway clean.

I am very city gal and country to live. Yep, I live in quiet city with country like. Illinois have better place to live and lot to offers us peaceful, friendly and caring people. Caring people in here are Blacks, Spanish, Chinese and Whites which I like them. |

Indiana is more that just farms, we have many great, big, and small cities, full of great people, who care, and help one another. We share, we all work together, and we have all kinds of people from all over the world, working together, to make this a great place.
You don't know Indiana. We have less tax, better homes, nice people, and still just a hour drive to downtown Chicago.
You must investigate more, before you make your choice. We have many people who came from Chicago, and around that area, and there must be a reason.
But with your closed mind, you may not fit in.
Give it a chance before you say no, to anything.

Mike I am not close mind, I am very open mind and more modern female than you are. My sister and her husband used to live in Indianapolis, Indiana for 5 years. I have travel by car from Chicago to Indianapolis to visit them. I went with my old boyfriend to Sand Dunes, Indiana. I have been in Whiting, Indiana for periogi Fest. I even went to Trump Casino and Casino in Gary too. My mother was born in Whiting, Indiana and her father worked Steel Mills in Whiting, Gary, Indiana but they lived in Chicago, Il. They travel to their jobs. They must didn't like living in Indiana but been living in Chicago. I didn't like living there. People are down to earth and live in old world. This is new world and we are doing modern ways. You haven't changed. You have your old patterns and don't want to learn new things. I have learn alot. How come your parents didn't tell you about Polish Histories? My parents have been telling us about Poland, Indiana and Old neighborhood they used to lived. We have very good communications with our parents. They got tired of working in farm in Poland and do not want to work in farm again in Indiana. You don't. Too bad, you don't know what you are missing. I didn't miss any. I am glad and my brother and sister are happy what we have learned our Polish Ancestries. You Don't. You are 68 yrs. You have been Poland, you didn't find your families in Poland. I have met all my aunts and uncles who come to visit us from Poland. Do you know your aunts and uncles well. DO you have good communications with them? NO. You are still searching for your roots. Shame on you. What A Brat You Are? |

First of, I am not a female, and yes you are more female than I.
Second, Whiting does not have any steel mills.
Next, Indianapolis, is a place of it's own, like Gary, and even I would not live there.
Also, my parents were both born in Indiana, as was I.
You still don't know of some of the great places, like Valparaiso, and many others, here in the great state of Indiana.
People from Chicago, come to my state to buy their smoke, fireworks, and cars, since you can get them here, and not pay the high sales tax at home.
The Northern part of the state, East of Gary, and the southern part of the state are great, full of great people.
You have never been to Valparaiso, if you have it was only passing by, and you have to live in a state, to know for sure.
I have lived in many states, and return to Indiana, and am very happy here. Many people move from Chicago area, as did many of my neighbors, and said, they would not move back for anything.
Some time come here, and I will show you around, and let you meet some of our great people, but you have to live here to understand.

Yes, back then there were Steel Mill in Indiana, Everybody were talking about Gary, Whiting, East Chicago having Steel Mills and these cities really stinks whole towns. Who care who moves to your Indiana from Chicago. In your areas you need cars to get around. In Chicago, we parks and walk all over Downtown. Beautiful Views. I didn't mentioned all cities and I felt it wasn't important. Why are you moving to Poland and there are lot of Polish people living in Illinois and Indiana. You are blind. I did not call you any name, and wish you would not call me names either. Can't we just get along. What you don't know, of Indiana, will never hurt you. Any way, we don't need more Chicago people here, many think they are better than us, but if this was the case, why would they leave Chicago, if it was so good?
Some day, I hope you get a chance to visit this area, and other find spots in Indiana, than you can make a fair choice. But I don't think you ever will, or want to.

It seems you have had a hard time with your neighbours. I don`t understand a few matters, though. What is this garbage collection on Sunday evening all about? That the ladies wait for Sunday evening to come? Bonobo, you are right, everybody on my Street have to take garbages out on Sunday night because Monday is the day for garbage collections. I hate to tell you my neighbors aren't very friendly people. My units ladies do not like men, I do not know whynot. I have no problem with men, men help me but don't want to help my neighbors. So I have problems. Do you why men like me because all my lifes I worked with Men only Companies? I have learned to understand men, they are wonderful and too friendly toward me. I can't tell you why if you see me, then you know. Our management are poor managing and do not communicated with us. Thanks for your reply. By the way, sometime I am not home on weekend. These ladies should help themselves. Everybody needs excercises. |

They have been married 3 or 4 times. they don't like to go to Male Doctors but only female Doctors. Their husbands used to beat them during their marriages. They don't want anythings to do with males. Look at me, I have lot of boyfriends and broken up too. It doesn't mean I have to go jump to lake and kill myself. These ladies did. They are violets and fight and push me. I don't like to have ladies friendships. |

I only know when I was born, Doctor told my mother and my father "It is A Girl" When I was 13, people are telling me I am lovely young lady. Now I am 63 yrs. They still call me beautiful Older Lady. They never call me woman I don't look like woman (old bag) I only know girl & lady get marry and they are calling women. I do hope you UNDERSTAND me. Or READ MY LIPS! |
