Yes, we had a snow storm over the course of last night...about 6-8 inches of heavy, wet snow. Thankfully, we have not lost power, so I'm still connected to the internet!

Unfortunately, we are not done yet and more snow is predicted for tonight and into tomorrow, with a possibility of another 5 to nine inches! And...it's really cold and windy outside! I feel like hibernating!

Good. All those weather reports from the USA sound like 3 World War news, always so catastrophic, so I usually imagine the worst events possible.

It seems like the news media treat all stories, no matter the subject, as catastrophic. I've been trying to avoid the newscasts...they make me too anxious!

It is their job. If they didn`t sound frightening, they wouldn`t sell their news to enough recipients.

The elements are a bit extreme right now - a snowstorm with very strong wind - I can see snow is flying horizontally. Amazing view. Good I am staying at home but later on I need to get the car back from a nearby garage. It won`t be fun to cover this walking distance on foot.
