Certain small businessman, dissatisfied with a court ruling, brought goats to pasture in front of the building. I think I need a little more information on this matter: 1. What was the court ruling he was dissatisfied with? 2. Is that the court building where the goats are grazing? In any case, the property there looks like it could use some cleaning up! The goats should take good care of that! By the way, in my town there is an area of several acres of public land used for recreational purposes. Part of the area there needs to be mowed at the end of the summer to maintain it properly. It was decided that since the mowing was so expensive that the town would hire some sheep to graze the overgrowth down to a manageable length, then the mowing would be done at a reduced rate. I thought it was a pretty innovative solution! Plus it was pleasant to drive by and see the bucolic scene of sheep grazing on a hillside! |

The article is a bit equivocal, the man had shares of a company and somehow he was deprived of them. The court didn`t support his claim so he got cross. As for the untidy area, you are right but the article reads that it doesn`t belong to the court, so court guards can`t remove the man. Until they find out about the owner of the ground, weeks may pass. A scandal erupted when aerials had been discovered on the tallest Jesus monument. Even a bishop intervened and ordered the local priest to have them taken down. The priest says the money for leasing the monument`s head to telecommunication companies was used to provide free Internet to the local population. This story (or I should say, this controversy) reminds me of a recent one in the U.S. concerning a different matter. A 26-foot statue of the actress has been placed in a Stamford park across the street from a church, which is getting a full view of her behind. It depicts the famous scene from 1955's "The Seven Year Itch" where Monroe holds down her white dress as air blows up from a subway grate.
The back of the statue showing her underwear is clearly visible from the front of the First Congregational Church of Stamford. Some passersby this week said it was disrespectful to the church.
Most church members have yet to see the statue because it was put up Monday as part of a citywide art display. But it is sure to spark conversation when they return for Sunday worship, said church member Maureen Matthews.
"I think some people will be offended," said Matthews, who is not bothered by the statue. "It is silly. There are bigger issues to worry about. But I'll be interested to see how people talk about it on Sunday."

That low counter is explained by the ancient building where the clinic is located, but they are moving this January. |
