This kind of actions, on there part must be stopped now. Our great leader, does not want to stop it, he wants to be friends with them, even when they do these things.

Tragedy in Kamień Pomorski. A day of national mourning has been announced. 21 people died during the fire in a social hotel in Kamień Pomorski. Polish president announced a day of national mourning.
Polish homeless shelter had code violations 4/14/09 WARSAW, Poland (AP) — The homeless shelter where 22 people died in a fire in northwest Poland had building code violations, the state-run auditing office said Tuesday, and the government ordered safety inspections at temporary lodgings across the country.
On the first of three days of national mourning for the victims, construction experts and prosecutors inspected the charred shell of the building in the city of Kamien Pomorski for clues to the cause of a fire that swept through it early Monday.
Twenty people were injured, most suffering broken bones after leaping from the three-story building to escape the blaze. Local hospital officials said their condition was improving.
A number of irregularities had already been found in the work of local construction inspectors who had allowed people to live in the building despite code violations and did not order any improvements, said Pawel Biedziak, spokesman for the state-run Supreme Auditing Chamber, which monitors adherence to regulations.
The building in Kamien Pomorski, about 370 miles (600 kilometers) northwest of Warsaw, was originally a spartan hotel for workers in the region's gas fields. Ownership of the building was transferred to the county government a few years ago.
Survivor Emilia Staniszewska said no renovation or adaptations were made when the building was turned into a shelter.
"I went from one official to another with letters saying the house has asbestos elements and is not safe to live, but no one did anything to change that," Staniszewska said on TVN24 television.
After an overnight emergency meeting by some government ministers, Interior Minister Grzegorz Schetyna has ordered a detailed check of all shelters in the country. He also said a report on the rescue effort at the shelter in Kamien Pomorski was expected on Thursday.
City Mayor Bronislaw Karpinski on Tuesday raised the death toll from 21 to 22 and said one young woman was still unaccounted for. Witnesses said she had jumped from the burning building and was taken by an ambulance.
City officials distributed aid to survivors and appealed for donations of new clothes and school books for children.
Prime Minister Donald Tusk's Cabinet was to decide Tuesday how much financial help to provide.
National fire department spokesman Pawel Fratczak said it was Poland's deadliest fire since October 1980, when 55 people were killed in a blaze at a psychiatric hospital in Gorna Grupa in central Poland.

Pilots killed in Polish air show crash
Two Belorussian Air Force pilots have been killed when their SU-27 fighter plane crashed during an air show in central Poland.
A police spokesman said the two pilots did not manage to eject to safety and were killed in the crash. There were no other casualties.
The crash happened at a military airfield in Radom, a city about 62 miles south of Warsaw.
A witness said the SU-27 crashed minutes after it began its aerial performance, far beyond the spectator area.
Poland's television channel TVP showed the large, heavy plane making three aerial revolutions and then levelling off as if about to land. It then disappeared from sight beyond a line of trees and exploded, sending up billows of thick, black smoke.
Local media said the plane crashed about 100 metres from buildings in the village of Naleczyn on the outskirts of Radom.
In 2007, two pilots from Poland's Zelazny Aerial Acrobatics Group were killed at the Radom air show when their planes collided in mid air during a performance.

Another major accident in a coal mine within a few years. Last time 23 miners died, now 12. In both cases it has been widely rumoured that the mine`s gas detectors were "set up" not to show the real level of methane down there. Former miners who worked there claim so. After anonymous information an inspection was sent to the mine in April but didn`t find anything. Methane fire in coal mine kills 12 18.09.2009 13:08 UPDATE – At least twelve miners have died after methane gas ignited at the Slask Wujek mine in the industrial region of Silesia, southern Poland.
Fifteen men are seriously injured, three in a critical state, say medical staff.
The accident happened at a depth of 1000 meters at 10.15 CET this morning at the Wujek-Slask, Ruch-Slask mine in Ruda Slaska-Kochlowice.
Fifteen miners were taken to the Centre for Treatment of Burns in Siemianowice Slaskie. Others, with minor burns, were hospitalized nearby.
Five medical helicopters, several ambulances and dozens of people took part in a rescue action.
The Minister of Interior and Administration Grzegorz Schetyna is on his way to Ruda Slaska and PM Donald Tusk, who is in Brussels, is being informed about the situation.
Methane ignitions are quite rare, occurring in coal mines when a pocket of methane gas ignites from a spark from machinery, sending a ball of fire through mine shafts.
In the last 30 years over 200 people have died in coal mine explosions. The most serious accident in recent years was a methane explosion at the Halemba coal mine in November 2006, in which 23 miners died. Winter takes its toll 18.12.2009 09:31
The freezing conditions have taken the lives of several in Poland as temperatures continue to plunge. Five people died last night, and about a dozen were injured from carbon monoxide poisoning from heaters.
"Three more men died from exposure to the cold. Fires have broken out, which is common during the onslaught of cold weather. Two people have been killed in a blaze in Warsaw. There are also cases of carbon monoxide poisoning; eight people are hospitalised after such an incident in Sopot, northern Poland," said Przemysław Guła, head of the Government Security Centre.
Weather forecasts point to more blizzards in the eastern parts of Poland.

At least three die in avalanche 31.12.2009 07:24
UPDATE - A third person has died after an avalanche crashed down a mountain in the Tatras, southern Poland.
Two people were killed on the spot when the avalanche happened yesterday morning. A third tourist was taken in a critical condition to hospital but died this morning. Two others are in a stable condition.
Rescuers do not exclude the possibility that other tourists are still trapped under fallen snow. The avalanche occurred at around 11.30 CET, Wednesday, under Buli pod Rysami, an area known for avalanches.
The Tatra Voluntary Rescue Service is using helicopters and sniffer dogs to see if there are any other bodies or survivors.
The avalanche occurred in an area where, in January 2003, eight Polish students from Tychy were swept away in a massive fall of loose snow.

Poland sinks further into deep freeze 25.01.2010 08:57 Thermometer plunges in Warsaw, Monday.
As temperatures plunge to minus 30 C in some places in Poland, the winter claimed more lives, the Government Security Center (GSC) has announced. "Sixteen people have died from hypothermia over the weekend, eleven of them within the last 24 hours," GSC’s Bozena Wysocka told Polskie Radio.
The statistics do not only concern the homeless, as some people have frozen to death in their homes. The dead also includes a 13-year old boy found on Saturday, who died on his way home.
The extreme weather conditions caused power outages due to network failures, with entire provinces deprived of electricity in southern Poland. The military has for several days now been assisting the efforts to remove ice from electricity lines. About 8,000 households remain without power in the country.
Meanwhile, last night the temperature has hit a new low, with -30˚C in the eastern parts of the country. What’s worse, some parts of southern Poland are still deprived of electricity after heavy snow falls at the beginning of January. At the ground level, the temperature fell even below -30 degrees Celsius(-22F) in south eastern Poland, Anna Nemec of a wather forecast center told the newspaper. Tonight is supposed to be even colder. Only in January, over 70 persons died due to the harsh weather conditions.
=============================================
Winter freeze claims more lives 26.01.2010 10:22
The government security centre has informed that the frost has caused the deaths of another 10 people. More than 200 have died since November, some of them in their own homes.
The Centre is appealing for special awareness to people who might be in need because of the low temperatures. Police and municipal guards have been put on alert.
Appeals are also being broadcast on behalf of wild birds and homeless or feral animals. On several occasions city patrols have had to free swans trapped in ice on lakes and rivers. Birds are also suffering because the cold has frightened off many of their usual feeders. Bird specialists urge people either to persevere – or not to feed at all, as birds come to depend on humans for subsistence.
Also people are being asked to be more aware of cats and dogs living outside. Shelters say they will take in all reported animals and are appealing for donations of old blankets as well as pet food.

A 14 year-old girl and her parents were found dead at their home in Piaseczno near Warsaw, Thursday evening.
Police spokesman spokesman Maciej Karczyński said they received a call from relatives of the family saying they had not had any contact with them for several days.
"When police arrived at the house they found three bodies,” said Karczyński. The family probably died some days ago.
Police are ruling out involvement of a third party. "We will examine whether there has been a case of poisoning," said the spokesman.www.thenews.pl/national/artykul127778_entire-family-found-dead.html

Driver dies as car slips into river 01.09.2010 12:35
A man has drowned after his car slipped from a flooded bridge into a river in the southern village of Bielanka in the Beskids Mountains, southern Poland.
Firemen trying to pull the car out of the Ropa River suspect that the driver skidded while taking a turn onto the bridge following torrential rain which has yet again hit Poland this summer.
The man did not manage to get out of the car and drowned. Firemen have already pulled his body from the car. Oh my God, poor guy. I know that wooden brigde. We always drive across it when we travel in that area.

Hundreds die of drowning over summer 31.08.2010 13:26
As many as 380 people have drowned in Polish rivers, lakes and the sea over the summer season.
“It’s been the most tragic season in years,” says Mariusz Sokolowski, spokesman for the Police Headquarters. The most common cause of drowning was alcohol and recklessness, he says. “Many people tried to prove that they were champion swimmers but failed.” As many as 260 people drowned in July when temperatures exceeded 30 degrees Celsius.
“People looked for relief from the heat in water but many chose unguarded beaches,” says Sokolowski.
In 2009, 468 people drowned in Poland: this year already 586 people lost their lives while swimming in dangerous waters.
